Elixir of Glassbound Tread
A small, perfectly formed glass bottle cradles a pale blue liquid that shimmers with flecks like tiny frozen stars. The liquid swirls slowly, catching the light and revealing a faint, glassy sheen within. The stopper is a clear crystal etched with a delicate rune suggesting fragile things held together by will.
Lore
This elixir originated with the Glasswrights, artisans who crafted floors and corridors of glass in the floating cities of Ardentine. A legend tells of a thief who used the potion to slip across a brittle glass chute, leaving no trace and causing no damage, until the surface finally mended itself after his passage. The recipe was soon coveted by explorers, spies, and architects who wished to test the limits of brittle architecture.
History
First brewed in the glass towers of Ardentine by Master Alchemist Sereniel. The formula passed through clandestine circles, often traded to those who needed to cross glass labyrinths or brittle frozen floors. It gained notoriety when it helped a guild of thieves escape a collapsing wine-tasting hall by stepping across its fragile glass tiles as if they were stone.
