Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the creature fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Magic Resistance. The demon lord has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Triune Presence. The demon lord exists in three bodies simultaneously, sharing a single mind. Each body can be targeted separately. The three bodies collectively share a single pool of vitality; when a body would be slain, the remaining bodies continue to fight. If all bodies are destroyed, Nexhathyr dies. The demon can reconstitute in a different body within 1 minute after a death event, preserving the overall fight.

The demon lord can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The demon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Lore & Description

Appearance

Nexhathyr appears as a towering, night-black figure with three distinct visages fused into one terrifying silhouette. Each body bears a different architecture of horror: one wears a crown of horned bone and seething eyes, another is enrobed in living ice-crystal armor that glints with internal flame, and the third is a serpentine, sinewed form covered in shifting scales. The trio moves in sync, their steps echoing like a chorus of whispers. When they speak, their voices merge into a single, dreadful thought that promises power through sacrifice. The Triune Demon Lord feeds on fear, corruption, and the fragmentation of will, wielding its multiple bodies to outmaneuver adventurers and strike where they are weakest.
