Metal Corrosion. When a creature hits the corrosive pudding with a metal weapon, the weapon takes 2d6 acid damage.

Spider Climb. The pudding can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Actions

Multiattack. The corrosive pudding makes two slam attacks.

Slam. Melee weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8+4) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take an additional 10 (3d6) acid damage.

Acid Spray (Recharge 5-6). The pudding sprays corrosive acid in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 27 (6d6) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Appearance

The Corrosive Pudding is a mass of black, viscous ooze that bubbles and steams, releasing foul-smelling vapors. Its surface glimmers with glistening acidic droplets that eat away at metal and other materials upon contact. The pudding shifts and undulates, leaving a trail of spattered acid as it moves.

Behavior & Origins

Once a simple black pudding, this creature mutated after absorbing a treasure hoard trapped in an ancient acid-filled cave. It seeks out metals to consume, decimating any adventurers who dare to trespass in its territory. The Corrosive Pudding is drawn to areas rich in metal, often residing in abandoned mines and forgotten vaults.
