The DM conveys a brief, fragmentary stream of thoughts—typically a single sentence up to about 20 words. The information is cryptic and not always reliable, but it can reveal a clue about the death, such as location, motive, or a key object.

Gathering Clues When you expend a second charge during the same death event (or within 1 minute of the death), you gain advantage on one Intelligence (Investigation) check to interpret the dying thoughts and piece together a coherent clue about what happened.
