Cloak of the Perpetual Breeze
A midnight-blue cloak of fine wool and silk, edged with azure threads and a silver clasp carved like a gust of wind. The fabric folds and shifts as if a wind you cannot see is always swirling around you, even in the stillest air. When you stride, the cloak seems to respond with a dramatic flourish, billowing behind you in a graceful arc of fabric and shadow.
Lore
Woven by wind-sages to honor the storms that guard the trade routes between north and south, the Cloak of the Perpetual Breeze was created to aid performers and leaders in controlling the tempo of an audience's attention. It has passed from troupe to king and back to common folk, each wearer adding to its legend.
History
Crafted by the enigmatic Master Weave called Zeilyn the Lighthand, the cloak has witnessed grand entrances and the fall of battles as much as it has championed peace during pageants and parades. It vanished for a decade after a coastal tempest, only to reappear on the market in a seaside bazaar, where it drew the gaze of those who sought to command a stage and a battlefield alike.
