Lore & Description
Appearance
A towering giant with skin like translucent glass, veins of luminescent liquid visible beneath the surface. Its organs—heart, lungs, and other vessels—are clearly visible and glow with an inner azure light. The glow shifts with its heartbeat, casting prismatic reflections on nearby rock as it moves.
Behavior & Origins
The Vitreous Colossus guards a crystal cathedral buried beneath jagged peaks. Born when a stone giant absorbed mineral energies from a tectonic chamber, its body became a living pane of glass. It drinks mineral radiance to power the furnace-like organ within its chest, using the light to pierce the minds of intruders and reveal truths the world would rather keep shaded. Legends say the Colossus was forged to protect a fountain of luminous shards, an ancient magic capable of flooding the world with glass.
