Lore & Description
Appearance
A towering behemoth carved from storm-sculpted stone and crackling energy. Its body is a mosaic of jet-black rock threaded with veins of pale blue lightning that arc along its length. A jagged crown of solidified storm thunderheads sits atop its head, from which sparks leap and dance in the air. Its eyes glow with a cold white light, and every movement leaves a faint rumble of thunder in its wake. When it bellows, the air itself seems to tear with static, and rain follows in its shadow as if summoned by the crown itself.
Behavior & Origins
Forged in the age when sea, sky, and earth warred for dominion, the Storm Crown Colossus was crafted by ancient storm giants to guard the Tempest Nexusโthe source of all storms that lash the mortal world. It slumbers within storm-wracked caverns and atop cliffside watchtowers, rising only when the Nexus trembles or when intruders seek to steal its power. Its crown channels the raw power of the tempests; every bolt that crackles within it fuels its strength and tempts it to unleash chaos upon those who threaten its sacred charge. Sailors speak in hushed tones of a silver halo that appears in the clouds before a storm, and of a colossal guardian that marches from the sea to the mountains whenever the sea-borne winds grow furious. To face the Storm Crown Colossus is to face the unbridled will of a stormโcrashing, unpredictable, and inexorably fierce.
