Lore & Description
Appearance
A hulking, misshapen construct made from mismatched flesh and riveted plates, the Suturebound Flesh Golem is a patchwork of sinew, bone, and random metal. Its seams bulge and ooze a faint red ichor. Each step creaks with the protest of nerves that should not be awake, and its eyes—one glassy, the other milky—seem to judge its own form. It moves with jerky, painful precision, as if every motion is a stitched apology to the parts that do not belong. It is painfully aware that it is not whole, and its every action is a desperate attempt to fix itself.
Behavior & Origins
Forged in a cursed workshop by a deranged artisans’ cabal, the Suturebound Flesh Golem was stitched from aborted parts and stolen body fragments. The creator believed in a perfect union of flesh and metal, but the stitches were placed with cruel whimsy rather than care, leaving seams that tug and grind against one another. The creature is haunted by the knowledge that its own form is a brilliant but miserable failure, and its every movement is a struggle to suppress the pain and fix what cannot be fixed. It craves new parts to replace what is broken, yet knows that any such replacement will only reproduce the same haunting flaw.
